Here is a little bit about my professional path in this field, which continues to fascinate me even after more than 28 years.

I have always been defined by personal contact with people. It was no accident that I decided to do a bachelor’s degree in communications at Université de Montréal, which I combined with a certificate in public relations.

My career in real estate started in 1987 at Montreal Trust. In 1992, I accepted a position as an administrative assistant for the Plateau branch of Via Capitale with the goal of becoming the assistant director. After three years, during which I learned all of the ins and outs of real estate agency administration, I started over as a full-time broker. From 1995 to 2005, I worked in the West Island and finally returned to my first love, Via Capitale Mont-Royal, where I worked until 2013.

That year, I did a thorough re-evaluation of my professional life and I decided to join a franchise that had just arrived in Québec, Keller Williams, because of its business philosophy, which is founded as much on respecting real estate professionals as on the quality of customer service. In fact, KW offers its brokers world-class training and management, as well as cutting-edge tools so that they can offer the best possible service to their clients.

As time went on, other brokers who brought their own expertise and experience came to join my team, so all clients of Team Marie-France Vachon are able to receive unparalleled service.

Not only am I the director of a solid team that is constantly growing, I am also using my talents as a coach by dedicating a significant percentage of my time to training real estate brokers, from seasoned professionals to brokers who are just starting out.

Where can you find me? I’d like to say the entire Island of Montréal, but I primarily work in Plateau-Mont-Royal, which I have been familiar with for many years.

When I take off my broker and coach cap, I devote all of my attention to my spouse, my family, and my friends (both two- and four-legged). After 15 years of sharing my life with two Korthals griffons, I’m getting ready to adopt more dogs of this breed because I really identify with them. Until then, my cats are living the good life and rule the roost at home!
